AZAM JAMIL

Azam Jamil, is a certified CPD Life Coach and has more than 44 years of experience in Hospitality, Tourism, Management, Marketing, Operations, Peoples Management and Training & Development.

He has spent an illustrious career spanning over three and a half decades in the hospitality industry in various positions. He is currently Advisor to Akhuwat and Senior Consultant with TEVTA Punjab and Franklin Covey Pakistan.

Prior to this, he held positions of Vice President of Learning & Development for the Hashoo Group, Corporate Director of Training & Development and Corporate Head of Sales & Marketing at Serena Hotels, South & Central Asia. On moving to the United States in 1983, he became the first Asian to be elected to the Board of Best Western Colorado representing over 80 hotels and motels in the state.

During his career Azam has formulated and driven large teams. This unique skill of multi-disciplinary team management, has transformed him in becoming one of the leading speakers on Leadership, Teamwork and Motivation for over two and a half decades at international and national forums.

Azam has also been a professional sportsman and was Pakistan’s national champion. He has represented Pakistan in tournaments at home and abroad.

He is also a qualified aviator and has flown for Air Search & Rescue in Colorado, USA. Music is Azam’s passion; he has been playing for over 4 decade
